Out teaching yesterday and the day started out glorious and there was the chance of a late thunder storm. (Perfect).
So we headed out the the Skillion at Terrigal on the Central Coast which I knew would make the perfect back drop to shoot in the light we were going to get and with the overcast light the sea turned a beautiful aqua colour. So I played around with some of my full ND filters to get the lovely .08 shutter speed for water movement and this was the result.
Three image exposure blend for sky, foreground and mid ground and I then picked the water movement shot I liked the best.
There was lightening behind us but the composition just didn't lend it self to being shot.
Shot with my new 17-40mm lens and this was it's first outing.
