Another interesting rock formation on Soldiers Beach here on the Central Coast. I was out with a friend who was over from WA (Western Australia) shooting a book so I though this spot would make a nice addition.

Three exposure blend.

Beautiful composition! :)

I like the detail.

I really like this shot. The colours seem just right with the purple tint and the way the water leads your eye out the the horizon works really well.

Awesome shot Matt. Weird - I just saw a shot at Soldiers Beach (which I'd never seen before) from a contact on Flickr this morning, checked it out on GoogleMaps and resolved to go shoot it when I next had an opportunity. There look to be some good channels through the rocks, particularly at low tide.

Thanks... I think this spot would be better at a higher tide with a exposure around .8 of sec to get the water flow. Just got to keep heading back and getting new shots.
